Doctors Direct of the CSRA, Inc. is an Independent Practice Association ("IPA") created and owned by a large group of local area physicians in private practice. Our group has had significant experience in the development, operation and management of traditional health insurance products.

In recent years, we have become very concerned about the continuing rapid rise of health insurance premiums and the growing number of our uninsured neighbors. In response to this concern, we have created the Doctors Direct Care Card as an alternative for those people (and their employers) who feel that they cannot get the care they want at an affordable price or do not qualify for traditional health insurance because of pre-existing health conditions or other reasons.
