Discounts for prescription drugs are available for Members at two levels: Standard and Enhanced.

Enhanced Pharmacy Benefit

In many instances,our Enhanced Pharmacy benefit represents a more significant discount on prescription medications. In addition the Enhanced Pharmacy benefit is available in all 50 (FIFTY) states and Puerto Rico.

The Enhanced Pharmacy benefit expands the number of participating pharmacies to include only the following pharmacies:

Albertsons, CVS, Fry’s, Kroger, Rite Aid, Safeway, Target, Tom Thumb and Walgreens.

We recommend that you send an email (MaureenMerkle@doctorsdirect-csra.com), fax (706-667-0077) or give us a call (706-733-1776) with the name, NDC number, the strength and the dosage of each prescription medication. We will compare the Standard and Enhanced Pharmacy Care Card price of each medication to help you decide if the Enhanced Pharmacy benefit will be worth the additional cost of only $24.00 per year for each member of a membership.

If a Member is not satisfied with the Enhanced Pharmacy option, the Member will receive a refund for the optional benefit if the Member returns the membership card(s) within THIRTY (30) days of purchase. If a refund for the Enhanced Pharmacy is issued, there will be a nominal fee deducted from the total amount of the refund for the reprint of the membership card(s). The fee is as follows: $5.00 for 1 card; $7.50 for 2 cards; $10.00 for 3 cards; and for more than 3 cards, the fee will be $12.50 plus $2.50 for each additional card.

Standard Pharmacy Benefit

Our Standard pharmacy benefit offers discounts on prescription drugs at the same rates that the State of Georgia pays for those drugs for Georgia's Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids programs, when payment is made at the time of service. There is no additional fee for our Standard Pharmacy benefit.
For pharmacies who wish to offer the standard Care Card pharmacy benefit, print two copies of the Participation Agreement and forward one executed copy to Doctors Direct of the CSRA, Inc., P.O. Box 12117, Augusta, GA 30914-2117. There is no cost to a pharmacy to particpate in the Care Card network.
